COVID-19 & HOLDENBY HOUSE
Owing, to the continuing uncertainty regarding COVID-19 restrictions, we have reluctantly taken the decision to postpone the opening our school’s programme until May 2021.
We cannot tell you how sad we are to do this and we are constantly reviewing the ever changing situation. However, we have exciting plans for our 2021 programme so please keep in touch through our website.
If you have a pre-booked visit and would like to rearrange your plans or if you would like to book a future visit, please email us at schools@holdenby.com
Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
And, of course, stay safe and follow government advice
Holdenby has the most awarded Heritage Education Programme in the UK.
Our eight consecutive Sandford Awards recognise our innovative living history projects, where staff and pupils are in character for a range of hands on activities.
All our projects marry the requirements of the National Curriculum with real aspects of Holdenby history. The House, Grade I listed Gardens, 14th century Church and Estate are all integrated into the programme by our trained and costumed interpreters.
Teachers are invited to come for a pre-visit prior to the actual day to ensure that the project chosen satisfies their needs.
To enquire about visits, call 01604 770786 or fill in the form here.
