COVID-19 & HOLDENBY HOUSE
In line with other Historic houses, we have reluctantly made the difficult decision to close Holdenby House, Gardens & Connie’s Tea Room and our schools’ programme until further notice.
We cannot tell you how sad we are to do this, but we do hope you understand, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Holdenby as soon as possible.
If you have a pre-booked visit and would like to rearrange your plans or if you would like to book a future visit please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We feel it is important to stay connected and we will keep in contact through the website and our social channels @holdenbyhouse over the coming weeks.
The Holdenby team send you and your family our best wishes at this time and please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
And, of course, stay safe and follow government advice
Holdenby has the most awarded Heritage Education Programme in the UK.
Our seven consecutive Sandford Awards recognise our innovative living history projects, where staff and pupils are in character for a range of hands on activities.
All our projects marry the requirements of the National Curriculum with real aspects of Holdenby history. The House, Grade I listed Gardens, 14th century Church and Estate are all integrated into the programme by our trained and costumed interpreters.
Teachers are invited to come for a pre-visit prior to the actual day to ensure that the project chosen satisfies their needs.
