The Gardens with Connie’s Tea Parlour will be open every Sunday, Bank Holiday Monday and Wednesday from Sunday 7th April to the end of September inclusive from 11 -5 pm (Wednesday; 2-5pm)

Savour the last Summer Bank Holiday in the tranquil setting of Holdenby House. A rare opportunity to see inside this majestic house and indulge yourself with a visit to Connie’s Tea Parlour and visit Icarus Falconry Centre.
The house, once the largest in England and the Palace and Prison of King Charles I, will be open on Monday only, 12-4 pm, with its historic interiors, amazing Music Room and discover our award-winning educational department who have set up the Old Victorian Kitchen which will give you the opportunity to see the rooms dressed as they would have been back in Victorian times. Take the house at your own pace, rather than guided tours you will be free to explore the rooms at your own leisure with guides to help you on your discovery.
Relax in the beautiful Grade 1 listed gardens, from the King Charles Walk to the Elizabethan Garden, the Tous Tous Border to the Silver Border, you can unwind in the most peaceful setting. There will be Croquet on the lawn and a Ladybird Hunt with Activity Packs for the children to enjoy.
Afterwards, you can explore Icarus Falconry, a centre dedicated to the care of its wide collection of resident raptors from around the world,
including Falcons, Hawks, Eagles, Owls and even Vultures! Enjoy flying displays on the lawn.
Finally, after all that excitement you can indulge in Connie’s Vintage inspired tearoom in the Old Stable Yard, she will be serving a delicious menu, including traditional Cream Teas, Vegan options and light lunches.

PLEASE NOTE: We welcome guests with disabilities and work hard to ensure that you can access as much of the site as possible. Disabled parking will be clearly marked, and Blue Badges should be displayed. We hope visitors will understand that the gravelled paths, although not ideal for wheelchairs, are part of the character of the house. Dogs welcome but must be kept on leads at all times. ( Please note: Some events operated by outside parties may request Assistance Dogs only)
HOUSE & TOURS
Private tours may be booked for groups/parties on weekdays. However, during school terms, visits need to be in the afternoons or evenings. Friday evenings are not available. The visit includes a guided tour of the downstairs of the house and as much time as you would like in the gardens.
Prices: £10.00 per head (Inc VAT), with a minimum charge £200. Light refreshments and delicious afternoon tea may also be taken (prices on request).
Holdenby is between the A428 and A5199, 6 miles NW of Northampton.
